Alkaff Mansion Ristorante

Tudor-style bungalows in Singapore have always evoked affection among Singaporeans and foreigners alike. These bungalows are to be found anywhere in the island and complements the lushness of the surroundings.

One of the more famous bungalows is the Alkaff Mansion which in itself has a long history to tell from the high society parties of the colonial times to hosting Buddhist chants and now a place for dinning and romance. The ambiance of the place affords the diners or guests with exclusivity amidst the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.

This bungalow houses the Alkaff Mansion Ristorante, an authentic Italian restaurant, with a menu offering, the ingredients of which were sourced from Europe. The ristorante offers a la carte menu on weekdays and buffet dinning on weekends and public holidays.

When I dined there for a buffet, the course served were variety of delectable European cheese, sausages, baked vegetables, fish in sauce, sushi and various kinds of deserts. The wine they served is also overflowing.

Among the buffet choices are Italian sausages and cheese.

Dining at Alkaff is one of a kind experience in Singapore. It is fine dining in Italian style while enjoying the tropical romantic setting.
