Ikebana at Paragon

One Sunday afternoon while I was walking at Paragon Mall, my attention was caught by an exhibit of flower arrangements.

To my surprise, the exhibit was about ikebana, a kind of Japanese floral arrangement.

In itself, the flower arrangements were truly artistic and resonates the florist's creative expression.

Here are the pictures of the ikebana on exhibit.

The Last Wurstelstand Before the Equator

For Austrians and Germans living in Singapore, here is a food stall for you!

The food stall is called Erich's Wuerstelstand, dubbed as "the last sausage kiosk before the equator."

The wurstelstand offers variety of sausages from Austria with three types of sauces to choose from. Pickles is also available in case you want it included in your dish.

The imposing signboard of the wurstelstand in Singapore.

Erich's Wuerstelstand was given recognition by former
Singapore President S.R. Nathan.

A few of sausage varieties the food stall serves.

Me with Erich, the owner of the wurstelstand.

The owner himself is the one managing the stall and I was fortunate to have conversed with him when I dined there.

Eating there is no different from eating in the wurstelstands of Vienna. The only difference is that you are sitting in a tropical country very near the equator!
